Labeling and organization
Keep circuits easy to find and their connections easy to follow.
Name your files
Use descriptive circuit names, such as first-and-gate or half-adder. Group related experiments in folders.
The file panel’s context menu lets you rename files and folders. Names should help you recognize the circuit when you return to it.
Arrange related components
Keep inputs, processing gates, and outputs in a clear order. Place related gates together and leave space between separate parts of a circuit.
For an adder, group the gates that calculate the sum and keep the carry path easy to follow. The same layout convention can help across several experiments.
Component labels
Component labels identify the parts of a circuit.
The current editor does not provide inline component-label editing or standalone text-label components. Use file names, folders, and circuit layout to organize your work.
